Re: Two computers occasionally

Will RoadShow lock up and die or do something else unwanted if it finds out that one license is used in two computers at the same time? Re: Roadshow 1.14 stops transmitting/receiving packets after 10MB of data

Hello, is anyone having trouble with this or know how to possibly fix it? After transmitting/receiving about 10MB of data, packets just stop being sent or received. The shownetstatus and getnetstatus continue to show a good connection and an IP address assigned to the device (V2ExpEth in my case). ...

@olsen: What specifically is the problem? I've fixed a number of bugs concerning macro files that wouldn't load (owing to the fact that the older CygnusEd versions sometimes wrote zero length macro entries). What else I should be aware of? Sorry, was busy translating, so I didn't get back in here f...

Re: Bugs... or features? ;-)

1. The commercial CD-ROM don't include the RecoverCEDFiles.ct file. This will be addressed in the next update, which will also include updated source code and catalogs. I also intend to create a new CD-ROM master ISO image so that future releases will ship with the most up to date distribution file...

CygnusEd update / Neue CygnusEd-Version

I'm currently working on an update which I hope will be ready before Christmas this year. This update fix several bugs, adds a bunch of new features and I also hope to address all the enhancement requests and bug reports posted in this forum. If there's still something bothering you about what Cygnu...

I bought CED 4,20 at that time with Schatztruhe. Where do I find the serial-number? regards brunadi To clarify this a bit: only the CygnusEd version distributed by ASDG, Inc. (that would be CygnusEd Professional release 3) bears a version number. If you bought your CygnusEd copy in about 1992/1993,...

Yes, since these features have pros and cons, I think a couple of menu options might be appropriate. Fair enough. Having said that, would it be possible for CED to remember the volume ID for each file rather than just the volume name? I vaguely remember something about DOS identifying each volume b...

Re: Volume names, click-through

Hi, I've noticed a couple of things that are different in V5 than in V3.5 (the previous version I've used) that are not to my taste. One is that the device name rather than the volume name of an edited file is used. For a file on a hard drive, this merely seems strange, but when files on removable ...

Thanks for the info. Although I do not know the inner workings of CygnusEd, I have to wonder if this isn't something which could be solved internally. It seems to me that if the raw keyboard event of pressing the "num lock" key is in fact passed through, then it might be relatively easy t...

Re: Trying to emulate EDT editor with CED

On my A4000 with an earlier version of CygnusEd I successfully emulated the EDT editor which uses the numeric keypad for its editing functions. I recently acquired CygnusEd version 5 for use on my uA1C. I am trying to configure it to also emulate the EDT editor. This editor uses the "num lock&...
