I noticed that I couldn't load Stereo (44.1khz) samples, I either had to convert to mono, or load left or right. So better sample loading would be fantastic. Proper support of stereo samples requires some nontrivial changes in the play engine of the tracker. It is planned, but will take some time. ...

Is there any documentation on how 4xx exactly works in DBPro? If you mean DigiBooster Pro 2.x, there is the source code of replayer. It is wrtitten entirely in M68k assembler, but readable.
