CD32 Kipper2K TF330 Back Cover

Published 18.02.2021 - 10:40 by AndreasM

Jon Vine who runs the YouTube channel "RetroFriends" and is my Amiga engineer friend. He who repaired my CD32 from my last article in the magazine "In search of a CD32". Has designed and 3D printed a back cover for the CD32 and the Kipper2k TF330 board that includes a SD card holder on top of the CD32 for easy card switching. The design has been uploaded to Thingiverse.com and listed as Thingiverse/4667637.

The design comes with a small clear plastic bolt that sits in the top corner of the SC card cover and illuminates the SD Card holder's activity light for a very nice effect. Though not for sale, feel free to visit the Thingiverse site and print your own.

You can find all the details about the design and printout at the "RetroFriends" YouTube channel. Jon also has an eBay store http://www.ebay.com/sch/jon5/m.html. [...]

Time is like a bullet. Too fast to catch.

With the help of BeWorld who provided me FluidLite port, I hacked a quick tool to play MIDI file without any hardware device, aka soft synthesis. FrozenLiquid is a small shell tool that will load a soundfont (SF2 for the time being) and create a CAMD MIDI cluster and AHI audio with Reggae. [...]

Gregory Donner: Webpage News

Published 15.02.2021 - 18:27 by AndreasM

Warp 4060:

Added a link to a brief video of beta tester Dawid Dorian playing Doom II via a PS4 DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller connected to his Warp 1260-equipped Amiga 1200. What's allowing it to work? Either it's a new, as yet unreleased, firmware version from CS-Lab, or firmware v1.008 (released June 6, 2020) has hidden wireless game controller functionality in it, as neither firmware 1.007 nor 1.008 lists USB game controller functionality in their change logs.
