ALB42 write:

Just to finish that (for me the program and services around are now more or less finished) I will publish this AmiTube program which you can use to watch short YouTube videos on your ordinary Amiga 68k.

AmiGemini 0.5 released: A Gemini browser for the Amiga

AmiGemini 0.5 released: A Gemini browser for the Amiga

We have already reported on Karl Jeacle's AmiGemini project in the past. This is a browser for the relatively new and largely unknown Gemini protocol. This protocol is focused on text contents, which makes it leaner than the HTTP protocol, but compared to the older Gopher protocol it offers the advantage of a protected connection to the server, for example.

A1200 memory expansion with 8 MB Fast RAM to build yourself

Oleg Mishin has published his third project on GitHub, which is an 8 MB Fast RAM extension for the Amiga 1200 with a real-time clock. The extension relies on a Microchip ATF1508 CPLD, the firmware of which is based, among other things, on the source code of this Amiga 600 8 MB Fast RAM extension: http://lvd.nedopc.com/Projects/a600_8mb/index.html In addition, a circuit board with four layers is useded for this project.

As Oldeg Mishin writes, the goal of this project was to learn more about 68000 CPUs and Verilog. At the moment it is not yet possible to limit the usable memory of the expansion via jumpers or switches for the Amiga 1200. [...]
