02.02.2018 Icon.library V46.4.473 published

Peter Keunecke has released a new version of his Icon library.

Latest changes:

My synchronization of the Ram Disk icon and Sys/
in ENV: and ENVARC: works now on all systems, including DOpus
and AmiKit (without icon_lib.exe). Thus, you won't need Copy
or MakeLink in your startup-sequence to create
The ghosting of the Ram Disk icon is disabled now forever!

A slash "/" at the end of drawer names will be removed, since
nobody wants to access "drawer/.info" which would be mapped
to "ENVARC:Sys/" instead of "".

Calling IconControlA(GetImageData2) will now also create the
delayed planar image which is required by the PowerIcons 1.06
for icon dragging. You don't need to call "NoDelayedImage2".
After aborting PowerIcons the delay works immediately again.

An experiment with the color reduction of OS4 and PNG icons.
I hope that the quality is minimal better in some cases and
that the code may also be a little faster on real Amiga CPUs,
cause I have replaced -(Ax) predecrement addressing by (Ax)+
postincrement instructions in the main loops. This makes no
difference under emulations like UAE or Amithlon, of course.

Two small bugfixes:
- A different size of the first and second
image of PNG icons was not detected. The 2. image is dropped
now and replaced by a darker copy of the first image with a
glowing effekt.
- Editing trashcan icons from the information menu under DOpus5
didn't work because the icon type of the
file in T: was set to 0 instead of 5. Failed as "wrong type".
