Before someone jumps up and shouts: "That's not new!" Yes, right, but we'll come to that in a moment.
Looty is an Amiga port of the ZX Spectrum platformer Booty by Jon F. Cain. Actually, according to the author, Looty is a homage to the classic from 1984. Originally the game was written for the Amiga in 1993 and sent to the Assassins PD Free Disk Collection the following year. In 2020 the game experienced some bug fixes and was expanded to include the ability to control the game using the cursor keys and to switch off the music if necessary. There were also some game-specific adjustments.
Looty is about solving one level after the other by avoiding opponents, reaching different platforms via ladders, collecting keys, opening doors and collecting various extras. If you like, you can let off steam with the included level editor.
The author of Looty plans further improvements, if there are enough people interested for this game. He is also looking for someone who is creatively gifted to replace the graphics he has created with an improved version. If you want, you can contact him on the itch.io page. You can also buy the game there for a self-determined price.
