Roadshow Update für MorphOS erschienen

Seit heute ist ein Update erhältlich, mit dem Roadshow auch auf MorphOS benutzt werden kann.

Roadshow ist dabei wesentlich schneller als der interne TCP/IP Stack von MorphOS.

Zu beachten ist dabei, das eine manuelle Installation von Roadshow unter MorphOS erforderlich ist. Das mitgelieferte Installationsskript ist unter MorphOS nicht lauffähig. Der User sollte sich also mit dem Betriebssystem auskennen.

Das manuell installierte Roadshow ist jetzt direkt benutzbar und erfordert zum Hochfahren keine weiteren Eingriffe.

Neue Beispieldateien für die Netzwerknutzung auf dem Pegasos/Pegasos II, und auf Apple-Hardware werden mitgeliefert.

Das Update kann kostenlos auf der Support-Homepage von Roadshow geladen werden.

Roadshow ist ein TCP/IP-Stack für Amigas, mit dessen Hilfe man eine Verbindung zum Internet aufbauen kann, und der es einem somit erlaubt, E-Mail zu lesen, Webseiten zu besuchen, usw. Es ermöglicht es auch, auf das Netzwerk zu Hause zuzugreifen und Dateien auszutauschen.

Roadshow Update for MorphOS

Since today there is an update available, so roadshow can also be used on MorphOS.

Roadshow is much faster than the internal TCP / IP stack for MorphOS.

Please note, that with MorphOS a manual installation of roadshow is required. The supplied installation script will not run under MorphOS. The user should therefore familiar with the operating system.

The manually installed Roadshow is now directly usable and requires no further intervention to boot.

New sample files for the network usage on the Pegasos / Pegasos II, and for Apple hardware are also included.
